Today, we talk about The Classy Style.

Most people view classy and sophisticated as spending tones of money. That is not always the case. You don't have to sell an arm or a leg for you to achieve this look. You could always go shopping in your wardrobe, you never know what timeless pieces you may be having.

Classy and sophisticated pieces are always timeless, that nude dress that you have and black pumps may still be wearable 5 yrs from now.

Below are tips on how to nail a Classy and Sophisticated style.

1. QUALITY OVER QUANTITY

Look for long lasting fabrics. Clothing that will serve you for a very long time are essential items in your wardrobe. Cotton, Linen, Wool and Silk are very good choices. These fabrics can stand the test of time.

2. NEUTRALS

Not everyone is comfortable in bold patterns and prints which can definitely work in a classy and sophisticated look. Neutrals are a good idea in such a case like white , beige, nudes, camel tones, gray ,black etc.

3. ATTENTION TO DETAIL

The devil is in the details and dressing classy is no exception.

Keep everything clean ,neat and simple. Less is more. Iron your outfits, repair loose buttons and holes.

4. GOOD FIT

Find a good fit for your size, shape and style. Not too tight or baggy, not too short, not too revealing. Keep it decent.

5. OTHERS

• Personal grooming. Plait your hair, do your nails and observe cleanliness.

• Radiate positivity.

• Posture is everything.

• Good manners.

• Put some make up on with a touch of red lipstick(works great).

Some of the classy women that inspire me are Meghan Markle , Michelle Obama and Victoria Beckham to name but a few.

Make sure your style and confidence shines out. Remember, classy doesn't mean boring or without personality. It exudes elegance and sophistication. It's also timeless: never goes out of style.
